### **About the Role** Uber is redefining the future of grocery and retail, building the world’s most dynamic and expansive marketplace for on-demand local commerce. A crucial part of this mission is ensuring a seamless customer experience through a high-quality product catalog. As a Catalog Operations Analyst, you will be the analytical backbone of the UK Catalog team, working across multiple domains, including integrations, assortment, pricing, promotions, content, availability, and search. Your role will be to project manage integration improvements, uncover insights by extracting and analyzing product and sales data using SQL and Python, driving impactful improvements. You will take a data-driven, problem-solving approach, using pilots, experimentation, and empirical analysis to enhance catalog performance. Your strong understanding of e-commerce operations, data analytics, and cross-functional collaboration will help you work effectively with engineers, account managers, and merchants. In this fast-paced role, prioritization and efficiency are key, ensuring scalable solutions that enhance the overall customer experience. ### **What You'll Do** - **Monitor and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs)**, using data-driven insights to improve catalog efficiency at scale. - **Develop and execute operational processes** to maintain and enhance catalog performance. - **Support catalog integrations** with grocery and retail partners, ensuring seamless implementation and ongoing performance tracking. - **Troubleshoot and resolve critical issues** swiftly when business-sensitive challenges arise. - **Lead operational projects**, collaborating with the Local Account Management Team, Global Catalog Ops Team, and Engineering. - **Identify and translate merchant requirements** into technical solutions that improve the catalog experience. - **Act as a key representative of the Catalog team** in cross-functional projects involving catalog-related processes. ### **What You’ll Need** #### **Basic Qualifications** - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. - 1-3 years of experience in analytics, operations, strategy, or project/program management. - Advanced SQL skills with experience handling large datasets. - Strong written and verbal communication skills to drive consensus across technical and non-technical stakeholders. #### **Preferred Qualifications** - Proficiency in Python for data science and automation. - Experience working with product catalogs in e-commerce or technology companies. - Ability to extract actionable insights from complex, unstructured data. - Strong analytical mindset, with a passion for solving business problems through data. - Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-changing environments, with the ability to work autonomously.
