Are you a motivated person with a passion for sales and customer success? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Renewals Sales Representative! We are looking for someone to be responsible for managing our software subscription renewals, which need to be carried out in a timely manner and ensuring customer satisfaction. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving our business forward and delivering exceptional value to our customers.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE 

  • Manage a book of software subscription renewal business, aligned by quarter, with the goal of closing the sale of all renewal contracts prior to contract expiration
  • Meet quarterly, half year, and annual targets associated with an assigned book of renewal business
  • Maintain direct engagement with channel partners and customers throughout the duration of a contract's lifecycle to identify and eliminate potential obstacles to timely renewal
  • Work closely with internal organizations such as inside/field sales, customer success, and channel sales to ensure assigned renewals are closed on time
  • Discuss renewal prices with customers and acquire customer commitment on updated terms, if necessary
  • Generate and manage sales opportunities and quotes in SFDC, providing timely updates reflective of the sales cycle and any challenges identified
  • Collaborate with external partners, distributors, and resellers to enhance the renewal experience for customers
  • Participate and present in customer quarterly business reviews to strengthen customer relationships
  • Accurately forecast expected renewal business each quarter and identify renewals at risk of closing on time. Investigate and document loss reasons for renewals that do not close

WE'D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING 

  • 1+ years of experience in renewals and/or sales
  • Experience negotiating with, and selling to enterprise IT buyers in a quota carrying sales role
  • Extensive knowledge of enterprise software sales, software subscription services, or software as a service licensing methodology
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Office (mainly Excel), and other CRM tools
  • Familiarity with enterprise procurement processes, specifically for IT-related spending
  • Demonstrated track record of personal development, increasing responsibility, and the ability to thrive in a constantly evolving and demanding environment
  • Ability to clearly articulate Cohesity's value through written and verbal communication
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience

 

 

Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits framework, including health and wellness benefits, vacation, paid holidays and refresh days, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.
US Pay Range
$26.92$33.65 USD

Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
