Specialist Automation Engineer

So, what’s the role all about?

You are expected to be a professional automation engineer with a strong testing background and knowledge of building automated systems & tests. You will be testing all aspect of a distributed system.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing build and test infrastructure, creating and enforcing good engineering practices, and evaluating product quality.

How will you make an impact?

Defining and execution of Test Plans for covering Functional, Regression, Usability, UI and Performance tests for Web Applications, desktop applications, batches, APIs,

Monitoring and Tracking Test Plan/Automation Projects

Reviewing the Projects and ensuring the impact of changes in the scope on test plans, changes in the priority, test schedule and test automation are well handled

Defining and Implementing Test Automation Projects

Ensuring Build Acceptance Tests are executed, and Customer acceptance is achieved within the given timeframe

Defining and improving QA Processes/ Best Practices

Creating/Tracking Test Metrics, Project Metrics and ensuring corrective actions are taken to keep good health of the deliveries

Motivating the team to deliver the projects with the desired Quality level and efficiency

Applying innovative concepts in testing to enhance the test coverage, improve Quality and Reliability

Have you got what it takes?

Should have 8+ years of experience across automation tools

Hands on in Typescript, PlayWright and SQL queries .

Sound knowledge of SDLC phases and Testing Lifecycle

Knowledge of AWS services.

Very well versed with GIT commands.

Experience in working in Agile Environment (Scrum/Kanban)

Strong Requirements and Business Analysis skills with good focus on attention for details

Well versed with Test Management Tools: Jira (JQL, Dashboards, Reports)

Test Automation Tools: Playwright, Selenium, Protractor

Knowledge of Continuous Integration Tools - Jenkins (or similar)

Strong Ability to define and execute Test Suites/Test Cases

Proven Experience of 6-8 years in Test Automation

Strong planning skills

Strong Communication

You will have an advantage if you also have:

      Utilization of Gen AI tools.

      Performance Testing tools – Gatling/JMeter/ LoadRunner.

      Capability to explore new technology like AI and DS

Experience working with SaaS
