Senior BI Analyst

So, what’s the role all about?

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior BI Analyst to join our corporate team. 

How will you make an impact?

• Develop and maintain complex data models for business data analysis and reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design appropriate data models that align with business needs.
• Create and maintain data dictionaries and metadata repositories to ensure consistency and integrity of data models.
• Identify and resolve data model performance issues to optimize database performance and enhance overall system functionality.
• Document and communicate data model designs and standards to ensure understanding and compliance across the organization.
• Work with business managers and analysts to understand and prioritize data and information requirements
• Provide analytical and functional support for internal clients
• Write and maintain technical documentation
• Review and validate data loaded into the data warehouse for accuracy

Have you got what it takes?

• Industrial engineering degree / information systems degree
• Experience in a high-tech environment as a BI System Analyst – Must         
• Experience designing relational databases – Must
• Strong understanding of SQL and data modeling concepts – Must – how to create the modeling
• Proficiency in data modeling tools
• Experience in designing and implementing database structures
• Ability to create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models
• Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes
• Knowledge of industry best practices for data modeling and database design
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of database queries
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiar with corporate systems data structure like: Salesforce, ServiceNow, ERP applications - Advantage
• Experience in cloud data warehouse: Snowflake – advantage
• Experience in transformation tool: DBT – advantage
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• High self-learning ability
• Service orientation  
• High level of English

You will have an advantage if you also have:

• A deep understanding of relational databases
• SQL mastering
• ETL processes
• Data modeling – star schemas
