Senior Specialist Product Owner, Actimize

So, what’s the role all about?

Actimize is the leader in Financial Crime Prevention monitoring billions of transactions every day. Knowing that the task of catching bad guys is in safe hands, our customers can fully focus on the business growth. We are looking for a product owner who will work on AML Analytics product, building solutions using ML/AI techniques. 

The individual must be highly effective working both independently as well as working with cross-functional teams driving effective collaboration toward product roadmap implementation. Successful candidate should have expertise within product management, defining EPIC’s, customer journey maps, story maps, detailed user stories (functional and non-functional) to support the development process. 

How will you make an impact?

• Work with Product management to build the AI/ML roadmap.
• Help translate company’s strategic vision into data science-focused product initiatives.
• Work with Data Engineer and Data Scientist on analytics systems and help the team in building AI/ML based solutions.
• Leveraging AML domain expertise in building AML Analytics capabilities
• Guide Engineering counterparts about identifying the efficient & scalable data-model
• Manage the backlog grooming, prioritization & requirements with focus on R&D execution.
• Drive the Scrum teams forward.  
• Work with cross functional teams, managing internal as well as external stakeholders.
• Conflict resolution skills are critical.

• Ability to synthesize discussions & convert those into meaningful milestones for scrum teams.
• Ability to manage the breadth & depth of highly technical discussions across range of stakeholders who could between highly business-focused to highly technical.
• Willingness to build technological awareness around new technologies.
• Ability to generalize requirements in a way that it follows the “Build Once, Use Many” approach.
• Computer Science Graduate
• Overall experience 9 - 14 years.
• Minimum 4 years of Product Management Experience 
• Previous experience with Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Recommendations Engine products
• Experience in AML domain and product is desirable but not mandatory.
• Technical Experience on Database, Cloud & APIs
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, think strategically, and recommend solutions using data
