Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, a related quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience with analytics, marketing technology, advertising sales, digital media and marketing, consulting, or financial analysis in a customer-facing role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., management or economics).
  • Experience with various advertising measurement techniques, including attribution, geo-experiments, incrementality and online-to-offline measurement.
  • Experience setting up and configuring web and app measurement tools, including data attribution and cross-device measurement.
  • Experience presenting insights to executive stakeholders and influencing decision-making with excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Google's measurement products (e.g., Google Ads, Google Analytics, Firebase) and leading third-party platforms.

As a Data and Measurement Specialist, you will work with Google large clients supporting them with their challenges around measurement, privacy, and data activation (audiences and targeting, product enhancement, and automation). In this role, you will be at the core of Google’s digital advertising business activity since your job will be to enable clients to understand the impact of their digital advertising spend on their business objectives. You will provide trusted marketing measurement, helping our clients gain customer insights, maximize their marketing return on investment, drive innovation in the Italian digital marketing ecosystem, and help to increase measurement competences internally. Moreover, you will drive clients through the technological changes in the digital advertising ecosystem to comply with regulations.

This role will require extensive cross-functional collaboration across other Specialist areas, gTech, Product (GTM) teams, Ads, and Cloud sales teams.

We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

  • Collaborate with clients and Google/client product and data teams to measure business value. Build and implement measurement strategies that showcase how clients can improve business outcomes through customized measurement techniques.
  • Drive the adoption of preferred measurement methodologies, products, and approaches across clients, verticals, and the industry.
  • Design tests using client data and Google or third-party technology tools to demonstrate the effectiveness of measurement practices.
  • Conduct custom ad effectiveness studies and analyses to understand the relative impact of different marketing strategies across digital platforms and media.
  • Share and scale practices, learnings, and business strategies (e.g., objection handling, promoting, business techniques, etc.) to upscale accounts, and link solutions and best practices to meet customer and Google business needs.
