Key job responsibilities
• Office hours duty in data center operations
• Capacity landing and decommissioning according to process guideline
• Rack cabling coordination and quality control
• Innovate and contribute from day to day operation experiences to improve operation efficiency
• Maintain proper media operations according to process guideline
• Site management and maintain tidiness in operation areas
• Incident first responder and hands on support
• Assist Hardware Break-fix and troubleshooting according to process guideline
A day in the life
You will experience a typical day of DCO in Amazon with
- Take ownership of technical issues, utilizing cross-team collaboration when needed to drive resolution
- strive for operations excellence and innovate improvement ideas
- Use ticket system to prioritize and track the installation, diagnosis, and hardware or network issues
- Maintain service level agreements through the rapid response to emergency issues

- 1+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience
- Degree / High Diploma or equivalent qualifications in Information Technology / Computer Science / Engineering or related disciplines
- Experience in network cabling include optical, sound understanding on incidents response and prioritization, experience in network cabling and implement innovative ideas to improve processes- 1+ years of data center experience
- Knowledge of network troubleshooting, fiber optics cabling standards, testing equipment and troubleshooting methodologies
- Able to communicate concisely with relevant context supported by data points
