Lead Counsel, Australia and New Zealand

Meta is seeking a Lead Counsel to join the Australia and New Zealand Legal team. This is a broad regulatory role with a focus on issues such as online safety, privacy, consumer protection, AI, content regulation, product related counselling and disputes. You will also be joining the wider Asia- Pacific legal team to work across emerging and cutting edge issues in the online space and may work on cross- jurisdictional matters. You will partner closely with other legal teams and internal stakeholders from across the business, helping to set strategy and advise on legal risks in the Australian and New Zealand markets. You will have experience handling regulatory and/or litigation matters, ideally with experience in the tech space, and will help develop solutions to legal challenges. This is a great opportunity to join a small and effective legal team and to work on novel issues in a fast-paced environment. This is a full time role that can be based in either our Singapore or Sydney office.
