Edge Capacity Manager

Meta operates one of the largest Content Delivery Networks in the world. The Edge Production Infra & Connectivity team supports all connectivity & capacity for the Meta product family, including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Oculus, and all future AI endeavors. We are a global team of experienced network professionals who are tasked with driving scalable capacity management solutions, budget efficiencies & synergies across the various network edge layers to sustain organic edge growth in support of the Family of Apps and future Metaverse endeavors. As we both scale our services and look to build the edge of tomorrow, building an efficient network is at the core of what we do. As a capacity manager you’ll be using data to make informed decisions on a number of initiatives including monitoring and managing capacity, utilization and reliability of the edge footprint (PoP’s/Cache’s), oversight of regional health, production vs. forecast discrepancies, engagement with cross functional partners in short and long term growth plans, and finally, driving resource efficiency on the edge.
