Job Description

Meta Advertising helps businesses connect with customers. Millions of companies, big and small, rely on our products daily to do their jobs and grow their businesses. Our advertising platform is among the largest and most complex in the world and we aspire to be the most valuable partner for businesses in the world. PMs in this team are responsible for bidding, auction, pacing and ML-based ad optimizations. Our ads ecosystem is a complex multi-sided market: On the advertiser side, the team provides the bidding and budgeting products that optimize how advertisers spend to reach their customers. On the ad inventory side, the team designs the core auction mechanism, pricing and the ads budget allocation across Facebook's family of apps. As the overall β€˜truste​​e’ of this dynamic market, the team is central to ensuring Meta builds a healthy and sustainable ecosystem. The team has a track record of delivering on company topline goals (revenue) and is crucial for achieving Meta's monetization goals. The PM in this role will focus on building a pipeline of ML-based auction optimization strategies that will ensure that, amongst other things: 1) We are building a healthy ecosystem of advertisers, 2) Ensuring fairness in our auction systems, and 3) Delivering value to advertisers and Meta. The role has very high visibility from ads leadership and the area is one of the highest potential growth areas within ads. We prefer domain knowledge in either ads or machine learning or both.
