Overview

Are you passionate about analyzing business processes and developing impactful solutions? AvePoint is seeking a Business Analyst with experience in OutSystems or Salesforce to join our Client Services division and help drive enterprise software solution projects.

What will you be doing?

As a Business Analyst at AvePoint, you will work closely with stakeholders to analyze business needs and translate them into actionable requirements. Your contributions will guide the design and development of innovative solutions that meet client objectives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Eliciting and documenting requirements for software development projects.
  • Analyzing and evaluating gathered requirements to create deliverables, such as Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), use cases, GUI designs, and interface specifications.
  • Translating technical information into business language for better understanding among technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with external and internal stakeholders to analyze information needs and functional requirements.
  • Working with developers and subject matter experts to establish technical vision and balance usability with performance needs.
  • Supporting project managers in planning deliverables, scope, schedule, and other aspects of the project lifecycle.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

  • A background in relevant fields (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, or similar).
  • Experience working with and analyzing complex business processes, software development requirements, and taxonomies.
  • Strong skills in requirements gathering, documentation, and analysis.
  • Knowledge of producing As-Is and To-Be documentation.
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills, with the ability to interpret business needs and translate them into actionable requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Professional experience with OutSystems or Salesforce is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint/Dynamics CRM and client/server architectures is a plus.
  • Experience mentoring junior associates is an added advantage.
