Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in digital advertising, consultative business, digital media business, business development, online media environment, or digital marketing role.
  • Experience in consulting, partnerships, business development, business, or marketing.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Japanese fluently to interact with the internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in mobile apps, gaming companies, or advertising business.
  • Knowledge of data-driven business generation and overall business beyond advertising.
  • Understanding of the app business and app developer ecosystem.
  • Ability to be organized, responsible, and grow in a team environment.
  • Ability to achieve and exceed goals.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present and pitch comprehensive advertising solutions.

As an App Developer Account Manager, you will be responsible for accelerating the growth of our existing GCS Apps customers. You will also use Google Ad products and mobile app marketing to design strategies that directly help our partners acquire new users and engage with existing users and achieve their business goals. You will deliver insights, recommend account optimizations, introduce product solutions, and conduct reviews to craft tailored solutions. Occasionally, you will travel internationally, speak at industry events, and engage in performance-motivated discussions with app developers and marketers.

  • Develop cross-Β­functional relationships with entire Google Customer Solutions (GCS), Large Customer business, Google Play, and other stakeholders in order to realize advertiser goals.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities within the client portfolio. Address client concerns and measure campaign performance to enhance results and deliver business growth.
  • Contribute to the development of Google’s comprehensive suite of app products.
