**About the Role**
As an Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving key initiatives across our business with a special focus on fraud and compliance. You will be expected to develop deep expertise in Uberβs fraud and risk tools, and must possess strong data analytics skills to identify fraud patterns (MOs) across our cities. Leveraging these insights, they will build actionable recommendations and tools to effectively mitigate fraud and risk across the region.
Youβll work closely with cross-functional teams to improve operational performance, optimize processes, and enhance both internal and external stakeholder experiences.
You will own local execution, support strategic rollouts, and collaborate across teams to scale solutions efficiently. The ideal candidate is analytical, action-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
**What You'll Do:**
- Lead and support high-impact projects from planning through execution, contributing to strategic goals.
- Analyze performance metrics and operational data to surface insights and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with product, policy, marketing, and operations teams to localize and roll out initiatives.
- Troubleshoot issues affecting customer or partner experience and design solutions that can scale.
- Build documentation, processes, and playbooks to ensure consistency and knowledge transfer.
- Support engagement efforts with stakeholders (internal and external) to align on goals and performance.
- Coordinate campaigns, initiatives, and events with operational and marketing impact.
- Contribute to budget tracking, reporting, and forecasting as needed.
**What You'll Need:**
- Min 3 years of experience in operations, logistics, strategy, or project management.
- Prior experience working in cross-functional teams.Β Experience with identifying, building and improving operational processes
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams independently.
- Analytical mindset: Comfortable working with data to inform decisions (SQL a plus).
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Problem-solving approach and comfort with ambiguity in fast-paced settings.
- Bachelorβs degree in business, operations, or a related field.
- Experience in data tools (SQL, Excel, Tableau) is a plus.
