At Lyft, our mission is to improve people’s lives with the world’s best transportation. To do this, we start with our own community by creating an open, inclusive, and diverse organization.
You’re an experienced app developer looking to solve complex problems, deliver significant impact, and ensure excellence for the Rider Android team. The Rider application is used by millions of people, and we take great pride in our work. This means excellent development practices, scalable and reliable code architecture, and safe, rapid releases. Within our teams agile development practices keep us nimble and accountable. A/B testing, feature flagging, and heavy use of analytics gives us useful insights into user behavior, enabling us to iterate and refine experiences and products. We focus on building delightful user experiences, balancing new features and tweaking existing features to deliver tangible business value, with refactoring code and reducing technical burden to ensure efficient operations. Every line of code gets reviewed by other developers, every pixel inspected by designers, and every feature hammered on by manual and automated QA.
