This role joins the Business Technology organization and plays a critical part in realizing our vision to accelerate the delivery of business outcomes across Okta by driving clarity, collaboration, and accountability in everything we do. The Senior Manager, ServiceNow Opportunity

As Senior Manager for Service Management, you'll be the driving force behind the ServiceNow platform, which empowers teams across Business Technology, Security, and HR. Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Support, you'll lead a dynamic team spanning the US and India, delivering impactful solutions that elevate the employee experience and fuel organizational success.

What you’ll be doing 

  • Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of ServiceNow developers, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Strategic Vision: Develop and execute a ServiceNow roadmap that aligns with IT and business objectives, prioritizing innovation, operational excellence, and value delivery.
  • Stakeholder Partnership: Cultivate strong relationships with key business partners at Okta, understanding their priorities and enabling capabilities that support both current needs and future goals.
  • Transparent Communication: Regularly update stakeholders on progress, roadblocks, and opportunities, ensuring alignment, trust, and shared success across teams.
  • Project Ownership: Lead project planning, resource allocation, and execution to meet critical timelines and deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Platform Evolution: Stay ahead of ServiceNow upgrades, emerging features, and best practices, leveraging advancements to maximize platform potential and address evolving business needs.
  • Agile Execution: Oversee demand intake, capacity planning, and task management using Agile methodologies to deliver impactful solutions on time and within scope.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Over 8 years of proven success as an IT Manager, leading high-performing development teams while demonstrating a strong track record of career progression and expanded responsibilities.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM platforms, including a deep understanding of ITSM, HR, and Security modules, ensuring alignment with business needs and objectives.
  • Expertise in vendor management and SaaS software, driving effective partnerships, cost efficiency, and seamless software integrations.

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between:
$195,000$293,000 USD
