Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with software development in Objective-C or Swift programming languages or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
  • 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.
  • 2 years of experience with iOS application development.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • 2 years of experience with performance, large-scale systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.
  • Experience developing accessible technologies.
  • Experience in code and system health, diagnosis and resolution, and software test engineering.
  • Experience in full-stack, web, or Android development.
  • Experience in Objective-C or Swift programming languages.

As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward.

Our team’s mission is to drive Workspace business growth by helping customers discover, adopt and embrace Google Workspace. The specific growth levers that this team focuses on are, New Seat acquisition, Seat upgrades (ARPU increase, Reduce early churn (by improving onboarding) and consumer business generation (in partnership with Google One team).

In this role, you will be responsible for Google Workspace and Cloud level OKRs. You will be working on critical projects with a lot of business impact.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $136,000-$200,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Write product or system development code.
  • Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
  • Designing and development of features that result in business generation and growth.
  • Work with Product Managers, UX, Engineers and other cross-functional teams to deliver the projects.
  • Be creative, understand the mission and product goals and deliver the best solutions to meet these goals with a user focused mindset.
