Leadership Technical Program Manager, AI Security and Compliance

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience managing cross functional risk, security or compliance programs
• 10 years of security work experience.
  
• 7 years of experience in leadership role(s) with/without direct reports.
  
• 5 years of experience managing projects.
  

Preferred qualifications:

• 10 years of experience managing cross-functional/team projects.
  
• 7 years of supervisory experience.
  
• Experience with AI products, models, and platforms
• Knowledge of Cloud products

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage various Engineering-specific programs and teams.

In this role, you will provide executive leadership with clear, routine transparency into our cloud's risk posture. By empowering business leaders across the company to make informed risk decisions, you'll safeguard our AI-driven future.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $214,000-$305,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. • Be a highly credible thought leader within Google and industry on the subject matter domain of the respective organization. 
  
• Drive measurable program performance gains correlated to execution velocity. Establish governance over prioritization decisions to ensure alignment with key performance indicators. 
  
• Lead Cloud to the bold AI outcomes for security and compliance.
• Oversee and drive progress in the cross functional AI workstreams.
• Work with CISO, AI Products, DeepMind, Applied AI and Core teams.
