Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in a sales role in the enterprise software or cloud space.
  • Experience selling Software as a Service (SaaS), Productivity, or Collaboration technology solutions to clients.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) or Collaboration.
  • 5 years of experience building strategic business partnerships with enterprise customers.
  • Experience in developing product/solution messaging, narratives, and value propositions.
  • Understanding of the Canadian business landscape and culture.
  • Ability to work through and with a reseller ecosystem to scale the business.
  • Excellent account management skills to identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within the existing account base.

As a Google Workspace Sales Specialist, you will be at the forefront of transforming how businesses in Canada work. You will advocate for the adoption of Google Workspace and our AI technologies, empowering organizations to achieve new levels of efficiency, collaboration, and innovation.

In this role, you will focus on driving the sales of Google Workspace within the Canadian market. You will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies, building relationships with key decision-makers, and collaborating closely with internal teams and partners to drive business growth.

  • Promote the value of Google Workspace, including our AI tools, to businesses across Enterprise and Select Google Cloud accounts.
  • Create and implement comprehensive business strategies for the assigned territory, focusing on acquiring new customers and expanding Google Workspace adoption.
  • Manage the entire business cycle from prospecting and qualifying leads to closing agreements, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and IT decision-makers within specific organizations.
  • Work closely with Google Account teams to identify and develop new business opportunities as well as build and execute well structured renewal and expansion plans.
