Join Amazon's Cross-Border Team as a Business Intelligence Manager and spearhead our data-driven revolution in international e-commerce! In this pivotal role, you'll lead a team of Business Intelligence Engineers to create actionable insights that enhance the global shopping experience for millions of customers across 200+ destinations.
You'll drive the BI roadmap, balance tactical needs with strategic goals in key areas such as Ordering, Engagement, Personalization, and Promotions. Your leadership will be crucial in prioritizing analysis requests and developing sophisticated BI solutions that optimize customer discovery, cart-building, and order fulfillment processes.
Collaborating with product management, software engineering, data science, and data engineering leaders, you'll design and implement information management capabilities. Your will present compelling, data-driven stories to senior leaders to drive strategic decisions and operational improvements.

Key job responsibilities
1. Lead and develop a team of Business Intelligence Engineers and analytical professionals, fostering their growth and expertise.
2. Drive the creation of actionable business insights to inform decisions and improve operations across Amazon's Cross-Border business.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to develop and manage a comprehensive business intelligence roadmap, balancing tactical needs with strategic goals.
4. Present data-driven analyses and recommendations to senior leadership, influencing strategic decisions and operational improvements.
5. Define and govern key business metrics, spearheading the development of automated dashboards and self-service analytics tools.
6. Partner with software engineers and data engineers to enhance data quality and drive operational excellence in data processes.
7. Own the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines, metrics, reports, and dashboards to drive business decisions.

- 5+ years of delivering results managing a business intelligence or analytics team, including employee development and performance management experience
- Experience with ETL
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with R, Python, Weka, SAS, Matlab or other statistical/machine learning software
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, or a related quantitative field- 4+ years of working with very large data warehousing environment experience
- 10+ years of data warehouse technical architectures, data modeling, infrastructure components, ETL/ ELT and reporting/analytic tools and environments, data structures and hands-on SQL coding experience
