Cleaner - Washington D.C.

We are currently looking for a Cleaner to join our Washington D.C. team. The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in Bluegrounds’ apartments. This role ensures a welcoming, safe, and sanitary environment for guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and service assigned apartments including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and balconies according to company design guidelines.
• Use Vacuums, Steam machine / Ozone machine for heavy stains on furniture and Upholstery as needed
• Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor and collaborate with technicians for repairs.
• Report missing items from guest units and handle lost and found items according to the company’s procedures.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including adhering to established protocols and using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Be diligent in ensuring the security of the units.
• Have competency in filling out digital forms.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is required; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Skills:
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with technicians to ensure timely reporting and resolution of maintenance issues.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and guest satisfaction.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds.
• Manual dexterity and ability to operate cleaning equipment.
