If you’re keen to join, we’re looking for a Payments Advisor (Permanent Work from home) to join our team in Manila. 

You'll help make sure our merchants have a smooth onboarding experience by reviewing applications, checking compliance requirements, and supporting account maintenance. In this role, you'll be the go-to person for our Customer Support, Launch, and Sales teams, making sure everything runs smoothly between merchants and payment providers. As the first point of contact for escalated Payments Risk Operations issues, you will be responsible for ensuring bank account and legal entity changes are processed accurately and within the standard turnaround time, and will keep all stakeholders informed with clear and timely updates on status and resolutions.

What you’ll be doing:

• Act as the main point of contact for merchants regarding their Lightspeed Payments services.
• Provide clear and timely updates on statuses and resolutions to all stakeholders.
• Efficiently handle and resolve payment escalations across all regions and products.
• Prioritize case routing internally to minimize business and cash flow disruptions.
• Process and verify bank account changes while conducting due diligence for legal entity updates.
• Ensure compliance with PSP requirements and coordinate with internal teams for necessary updates.
• Monitor and manage restrictions set by payment providers, collaborating with Stripe, Adyen, and others to resolve issues.
• Develop and implement remediation plans for impacted merchants.

What you need to bring:

We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:

• Previous experience in FinTech, lending, or banking.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Solid understanding of credit, risk assessment, and underwriting analysis.
• Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving

Our hiring process is very straightforward. You’ll undergo a preliminary video screening and the whole process will be conducted at the comfort of your own home, through Zoom or Google Meet. No need to go through Manila's heavy traffic!
