We’re seeking a Manager I, Operations to join our dynamic External fulfillment Operations. Our Fulfillment Centers are at the heart of Amazon’s rapidly growing Operations network: they’re where we manage our fast-moving inventory. They’re also where we developed our industry-leading workflows. Our vendors stow deliveries, pick products, package them up and ship them out: each of these groups have played their part in taking us where we are today.

Key job responsibilities
You’ll be responsible as a manager for all Seller/Vendor Flex sites in Turkey. Along with your peers, you’ll ensure that all workflows run smoothly and that customer expectations are met, if not exceeded.
In the operations team you enter and lead, we’ll be entrusting a team of City Managers reporting to you. You’ll drive the training and integration of your team, while motivating and inspiring forward progress. All the while, you’ll exercise sound judgement, making sure progress and KPI targets are worked towards and met.
While you achieve this, you’ll ensure motivation, engagement and performance:
• You’ll need to safeguard your team’s safety, promoting Amazon’s Health and Safety standards,
• You’ll lead cross-functional teams, tasked with solving operational problems,
• You’ll uphold Amazon’s high standards of process quality,
• You’ll maintain inventory accuracy,
• You’ll strive to improve and streamline processes,
• You’ll become a subject matter expert on larger FC processes and activities,
• You’ll actively share and promote best practices with your colleagues and network.
A day in the life
• Ensure the KPI targets are met across DEA, speed metrics, ops performance metrics
• Managing vendor's performance along with building strong connections with our external vendors and the scalability of the operations through launching new sites and expanding existing selection.
• Should be able to work with stakeholders actively and execute improvement projects on ground.
• Work with teams to deliver and stick to the required schedules and CPTs.
• Maintaining strong vendors' experience.
• Work closely with FnA, SnOP, Trans and other stakeholders to help resolve vendor's issues.
• This role requires site visits across Turkey to all of our sites on a regular basis.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, transportation logistics
• 2+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
• Knowledge of Kaizen and Lean methodology techniques
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workloads, maintain a strong attention to detail, and work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
• Superior communication skills, including the proven ability to effectively manage, influence, and communicate with external business partners and internal teams to influence operational performance goals.
• Strong analytical and data gathering skills, including the ability to translate large amounts of data into actionable insights.
• SQL query writing and experience with Power BI and creating QS Dashboards.
• Lean/Six Sigma Experience, Certification or Training
