We are seeking an experienced Middle Office Operations Analyst with projects experience responsible for driving process improvements and collaborating with IT to deliver solutions. The role will provide support to manage the current book of work items for Operations and COO, ensuring progress and providing updates to stakeholders. This includes:
- Managing bug reports within the main Order Management System (OMS)
- Overseeing feature requests to enhance Operations functionality
- Supporting new product development initiatives
- Driving workflow efficiency improvements
Your future role at QRT
- Identify process gaps and challenge the status quo, proactively assessing and improving manual processes within Operations.
- Lead projects aimed at process enhancements and work closely with IT to implement solutions.
- Engage with stakeholders, including COO and Operations teams, to understand their requirements and ensure alignment with operational strategies.
- Develop an understanding of upstream and downstream processes within Operations and the COO function.
- Support business requirement gathering, process gap identification and contribute to planning and process improvements.
- Write business plans and business requirements as part of project responsibilities (prior experience in this area is not required but will be developed in the role).
- Develop a deep understanding of our business, processes, and systems to drive long-term operational improvements.
Your present skillset
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Middle Office Operations, with multi-asset exposure, ideally OTC derivatives (such as swaps, interest rate swaps, total return swaps (TRS), FX forwards and swaps, equity swaps, and commodity swaps).
- Change & Project Exposure: Prior involvement in operational projects, streamlining processes, testing and project-based work alongside middle office responsibilities.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify process inefficiencies, conduct gap analysis, propose solutions and oversee process improvements.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to provide clear updates and liaise with multiple stakeholders.
- This role is suited for candidates looking to transition away from Operations BAU tasks and move into project-based roles.
