About the opportunity

The IT Tech Coordinator is a member of the IT Procurement & Operations team, which plays a crucial role within the Internal IT segment. This function focuses on strategically purchasing hardware and software licenses to meet the organization's technology requirements. This team plays a key role in ensuring compliance with established guidelines and purchasing procedures throughout supplier negotiations, contributing to efficient and cost-effective procurement processes.

Collaboration is at the heart of the team's operations, as they work closely with our accounting and sourcing teams to align procurement activities with the company's financial strategies and sourcing agreements. Furthermore, the IT Procurement & Operations team oversees relationships with external partners, ensuring that vendors adhere to the organization's standards for quality and service. They are also responsible for procuring hardware in accordance with the organization's demands and needs.

In this role, you will:

  • Provides support to Internal IT-wide projects and workstreams, ensuring timely and effective delivery.

  • Identifies opportunities for improvement within the scope of work and implements changes as needed.

  • Ensures accurate data and reporting for assigned workstreams, providing transparency and visibility.

  • Collaborates with Internal IT colleagues, other N26 teams, and vendors to achieve successful project outcomes.

  • Develops and maintains clear, concise, and up-to-date documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and process consistency.

What you need to be successful:

  • Demonstrates exceptional self-management skills, prioritizing workload effectively and independently to meet deadlines.

  • Exhibits a proactive, organized, and service-oriented approach, committed to exceeding service level agreements and delivering exceptional results.

  • Proficient in ticket-based enterprise workflow management systems, specifically JIRA ServiceDesk, with experience in managing and tracking workflows.

  • Accurately reviews and processes purchase orders, project invoices, maintenance renewals, and subscriptions to ensure timely and proper billing.

  • Possesses a strong digital literacy and user-centric mindset, with a passion for understanding and meeting user needs.

  • Boasts a high level of work ethic, a drive to learn and grow, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

  • Has previous experience supporting projects and workstreams, with a proven track record of success.

  • Excellent team player with strong collaboration skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Possesses exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong customer service orientation and ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.

  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

Nice to have:

  • Possesses prior experience in applying project management methodologies.

  • Demonstrates expertise in procurement and invoice management, with a strong understanding of procurement processes and procedures.

  • Has a proven track record of working in the Fintech industry, with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in this sector.
