System Solutions Engineer - RegTech
Job Description
The RegTech Segment at N26 creates a secure, compliant by design, environment where seamless access to essential IT assets empowers individuals and teams to innovate and achieve their highest impact with confidence and minimal risk.
The System Solutions team is responsible for configuring, managing and maintaining 3rd party SaaS applications inventory at N26.
As a Systems Solutions Engineer, you will work closely with our Security teams, Product and Tech teams and other departments. Seamless cooperation between these teams is essential and supported on all levels.
Own technical lifecycle of 3rd party SaaS applications inventory at N26
Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain software in a thriving environment
Stay up to date with the latest trends in technology and you are not afraid to propose some findings during our GSDD.
Work within your cross-functional team to uphold the highest technology standards right across the product
Ensure that all applications and services are up-to-date with N26 security standards
Build necessary tooling to optimize and measure performance of our integrations continuously
Create accurate and clear technical documentation; develop support processes and procedures; provide training and support ownership hand-off to peers/organizational units.
Troubleshoot and diagnose availability and performance issues
Create collaborative environment with other technical and non-technical stakeholders
Identify and develop internal process automation
An ability to communicate very effectively with the technical and non technical audience
Knowledge of Authentication and Authorisation protocols such as SAML, OIDC, OAuth.
An understanding of various protocols like REST/SOAP and have lived through XML as well as played with JSON
Appreciation of working in a modern cloud architecture, preferably with AWS
Experience in coordinating technology decisions with architectural requirements and constraints
Comfortable writing code that interacts with APIs (Python, bash, etc.)
Experience building CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling such as: Terraform, Spotinst, Datadog, OpenSearch
Proven knowledge of Linux Operating Systems
Language Skills: full professional proficiency in English
Experience with Domain Driven Design
