Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in HR Business Partner or HR Generalist roles.
  • Experience with local labor laws and labor relations environment.
  • Ability to communicate in Swedish fluently to communicate with local labor officials.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration and driving decisions with multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Experience with implementing large-scale HR projects, risk management/mitigation, and supporting change management, business readiness, communications, and training activities.
  • Knowledge of HR, CoE disciplines and local employment law.
  • Excellent project/change management skills, and ability to manage multiple simultaneous priorities.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analysis skills.
  • Excellent change management skills.

We bring the world's most innovative people to Google and provide the programs that help them thrive. Whether recruiting the next Googler, refining our core programs, developing talent, or simply looking for ways to inject some more fun into the lives of our Googlers, we bring a data-driven approach that is reinventing the human resources field.

  • Manage relationships with employee representatives and third parties. Work together with the business and other stakeholders (e.g., People Ops, Employee Relations, Employment Legal) to ensure Google’s compliance with its information and consultation obligations under local legislation. 
  • Enable the successful roll-out of company-wide programs and initiatives by advising on, designing, and implementing the required labor relations process.
  • Manage several complex labor relations initiatives simultaneously: manage timelines, identify legal and operational risks, and communicate these to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the EMEA and Global Labor Relations teams and contribute to a global labor relations strategy. Define and implement training, provide coaching and guidance towards the broader People Ops community.
  • Provide support around broader HR topics and areas, contribute to deployment of HR programs and processes and understand how to navigate the People Operations (Ops) ecosystem.
