Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience as a Human Resource (HR) business partner or HR generalist.
  • Experience in organizational effectiveness, including workforce planning and organizational design.
  • Experience with organization transformations across multiple regions and integrating teams with new capabilities and talent.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working in a cloud service provider, consulting, IT services provider or government contracting industry.
  • Knowledge of current and future processes needed to pursue improvement in HR and Talent policies and practices.
  • Ability to collect consensus from internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership, surrounding new ideas and strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with executive leaders within the public sector business and Cloud.
  • Active holder or eligible to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.

In this role, you will serve as the lead People Partner to the VP, Technology Strategy and Delivery organization which oversees a portfolio including professional services organization, security (e.g., cyber and industrial), sovereign operations, technology strategy and global cloud programs for public sectors. You will reports to People and Business Operations Leader.Google Public Sector brings the magic of Google to the mission of government and education with solutions purpose-built for enterprises. We focus on helping United States public sector institutions accelerate their digital transformations, and we continue to make significant investments and grow our team to meet the complex needs of local, state and federal government and educational institutions.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $202,000-$287,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Prepare leaders and teams to embrace organizational change, shaping and executing people plans.
  • Manage clear communication of people strategies and implement organizational changes to achieve desired business goals.
  • Translate company-wide Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) into plans tailored to the needs of the client organization, providing feedback to identify potential gaps.
  • Identify talent gaps, organizational shortcomings, and people needs that could impact business strategy execution; use this analysis to guide resourcing and development initiatives.
  • Support the selection and development of talent, and drive organizational health improvements through trend monitoring, cultural analysis, and promotion of a diverse, inclusive, and respectful work environment.
