Recruiting Coordinator, SWE (HQ)

As a Recruiting Coordinator at Verkada, you will partner with the Recruiting and Leadership teams across the Software Engineering organization to organize calendars, schedule interviews for a high volume of candidates, and own the candidate experience during our hiring process. We are one of the fastest growing companies in Silicon Valley and you will be essential to our continuous growth!

Please note that this role is on-site in our San Mateo office and there is not an opportunity for remote.

Responsibilities

• High volume of interview scheduling, travel arrangements for candidates, and onsite candidate management 
• Greet/walk out all candidates, prepare interview rooms, facilitate interview schedule and all other day of logistics to ensure candidates have a seamless experience
• Ownership and maintenance of recruiting tools including GoodTime, Greenhouse, and Ashby 
• Provide general project and recruiting support to the Recruiting team on an as-needed basis
• Proactively stay up to date on Verkada’s interview processes and developments within Verkada’s Software Engineering team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited university
• 1-2 years of experience in recruiting
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on timely and transparent communication
• A strong organizational system combined with a sense of proactive urgency 
• Adept at managing competing priorities and navigating a fast-paced startup environment
• Commitment to excellence, high attention to detail, and top performance
• Knowledge of G-Suite, Greenhouse, and GoodTime

Preferred Qualifications 

• Prior technical recruiting/coordination experience 
• Interest in developing a career in talent acquisition
• Project management experience
• Knowledge of Ashby and Notion
