Software Engineer

So, what’s the role all about? 

As part of the SaaS development team (X-Sight), you will be responsible for developing our new platform and infrastructure analytics capabilities for Actimize Cloud-based solutions. 

How will you make an impact?  

• Develop our new X-Sight platform from scratch for Actimize Cloud-based solutions on top of AWS. 

• Will be part of the group that builds the platform capabilities for the X-Sight platform. 

• Actively lead and participate in the product features development 

• Enforce and encourage coding standards and development of best practices in the team 

• Promote an empowered, self-managed, collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment that fosters ownership, creativity and innovation 

• Analyze feature requirements, create design documents, and review them with relevant stakeholders in the group 

• Encourage continuous improvement in the development process and ensure efficient delivery of products 

• Participate in reviewing the design and code of other team members 
• Deliver high-quality, sustainable, and maintainable code. 

Have you got what it takes?  

• BSc/BA. in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent 

• At least 2 years experience as a back-end Java software engineer 

• Experience with AWS services and technologies like RDS, EKS, IAM, ECR 

• Experience with AWS development in a production environment 

• Experience with Architecture and design of complex systems 

• Be a Can-doer who can take a task from plan to completion 

• Team player, with excellent communication and presentation skills 

You will have an advantage if you also have: 

• Experience with microservices and mainly docker/container, spring boot applications running on K8S 

• Experience working in a SaaS product company. 

• Experience with CI/CD technologies (Jenkins etc.) 

• Knowledge of secure code practices. 

• Experience with cloud providers. 
• Experience in development following Agile framework with knowledge across Agile concepts and methodologies.
