We're looking for a self-starter with a passion for building communications functions. This role will build and lead Affirm’s International Communications. They will be a key member of our organization with significant responsibilities and growth opportunities! We are looking for an excellent writer and leader to own Affirm’s narrative in the UK, driving greater awareness and affinity for our brand and products.
Lead our International Communications function
Engage directly with executives on major announcements and thought leadership initiatives
Build our international presence leveraging strategic communications
Own Affirm’s storytelling efforts in international markets working with global, regional and local press
Work closely with Affirm’s Revenue team to support and amplify key business achievements and events - including speaking engagements
Develop communications strategy and processes, from organizing speaking opportunities, to proactively securing strategic media coverage as well as crisis and issues management
Cultivate and maintain deep relationships with business press, consumer media, key industry opinion leaders and external stakeholders
10 years of experience working in corporate communications and/or media relations for a global brand, with expertise in managing international markets, preferably for a high-profile public company in the technology space – either in house or on agency side
Proven record of pitching and securing strategic media coverage and managing nuanced issues
Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience managing agencies, and putting in place scalable processes
Experience doing scenario planning and crisis communications
Ability to translate marketing objectives into communications strategies and plans
Experience in B2B and B2C communications would be preferable

Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills.
Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents). In addition, the employees may be eligible for equity rewards offered by Affirm Holdings, Inc. (parent company).
GBR base pay range per year: 142,000 - 202,000
