Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience managing projects.
- 2 years of experience with manufacturing, supply chain management, or fulfillment planning and execution in a new product introduction (NPI) role.
- Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently in order to communicate with global special projects team and local contract manufacturers in Mexico.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience leading cross-functional process improvement.
- Experience in data modeling, trend analysis, statistics, forecasting, or business insights.
- Knowledge of the tools and elements of project management with the ability to be an influential member of a highly integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical members.
- Knowledge of accountability and ownership for a project life-cycle with the ability to collaborate and influence across multiple levels of an organization.
- Ability to shift between detailed analysis and big picture thinking and to customize communication based on the audience.
- Excellent investigative skills.

As a New Product Introduction (NPI) Operations Program Manager, you will be the primary Operations/Supply Chain interface to the development and deployment teams. You will be responsible for driving operations new product development as well as supporting those products through production ramps. You will be well versed with the Contract Manufacturer (CM)/Original Device Manufacturer (ODM) manufacturing environments. You will lead a team of professionals to ensure products are designed and built to Google standards.
This role requires on-site presence at the contractor manufacturer in Guadalajara three days per week.

- Lead large, complex, cross-functional Program teams within Google and with external partners to prepare for production ramp or product transitions.
- Plan and execute operations development activities and ensure transition to production within cost, quality and capacity parameters. Ensure successful production transitions meeting program goals.
- Manage ramp readiness with internal teams as well as external partners (i.e., material availability, cost/assembly/test/BOM/capacity readiness and transition plans).
- Drive cross-functional teams to optimize the supply chain for specific strategic reasons, while accounting for risks, changes in schedule or demand.
