The Selling Partner Experience (SPX) is on a mission to build and enable a trusted Selling Assistant that empowers our partners (e.g., sellers, account managers) to thrive in Amazon Stores globally. By enabling our partners to ask questions in their own words at any time and from anywhere in their selling journey we will reduce the cognitive load of selling on Amazon by providing a single interface to handle a diverse set of selling needs. The Selling assistant will stay by the partners' side, communicate in their language, remove bottlenecks to accessing information and enable them to capitalize on opportunities.

We are seeking a Software Development Engineer (SDE) to join our innovative Selling Assistant initiative. This role focuses on developing AI-driven solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs) to transform how sellers interact with Amazon's ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have proven success delivering new features and products as a full stack developer and will work on portals through which the customers/sellers interact. They will contribute across the entire software development lifecycle and will excel in team collaboration and communication with both technical and business stakeholders. They will possess strong technical expertise in building large-scale, mission-critical systems. They will demonstrate solid Computer Science fundamentals and show passion for emerging technologies and problem-solving

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
