As Senior Manager, Program Management for WHS Data-Tech, you will drive the development and implementation of world-class safety management system (AUSTIN) at Amazon. Collaborating with Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) and Worldwide Operations teams, you'll identify critical safety needs and execute comprehensive roadmaps to enhance workplace safety solutions, in partnership with Amazon Fulfillment Technologies team. You will lead multiple workstreams and cross-functional teams, coordinating with diverse stakeholders to deliver enterprise-scale safety solutions. The ideal candidate brings proven experience leading complex global programs, strong business acumen, and the ability to translate operational requirements into actionable plans. You should excel at stakeholder management and demonstrate the ability to deliver results in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. Success in this role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution capability, with strong decision-making skills to balance operational constraints with business priorities. Key job responsibilities
- Lead a team of Program Managers to oversee prioritization and trade-offs among technical and operational lift, and competing priorities across multiple stakeholder teams.
- Be the voice of the customer and drive strategic vision and roadmap to help build a world-class safety management system.
- Drive alignment with senior leaders and key cross-functional partners; regularly report out to them in an effective and concise manner.
- Partner closely with other program/product leaders, AFT, operations teams and WHS leadership to deliver on the roadmap.
- Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and invention, pilot the best ideas, and then implement broadly, if proven to be advantageous.

WHS Data-Tech's charter is to deliver technology solutions and data insights that help mitigate workplace risks and injuries at Amazon. Our customers are Worldwide (WW) Operations and the global WHS organization. The technology solutions landscape for WHS Data-Tech IN includes web applications built using native Amazon Web Services (AWS) technologies and device-software hybrid solutions that leverage generative artificial intelligence, computer vision, sensors and Internet of Things technologies. Additionally, the team conducts scientific research and modeling to generate safety insights and provides analytical solutions, ranging from senior leadership deliverables to individual business unit specific reports.- 7+ years of team management experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $225,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
