Finance Business Partner - Lending & Savings

In this role, you will:

As part of the Finance Business Partnering team, you will support the Financial Empowerment Domain in maximising value through financial analysis. In this role, you’ll drive accountability for business performance against strategic, business, and financial objectives.

• Providing accurate, insightful reporting on KPIs to track business performance across bank products, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Supporting the budgeting and forecasting processes for bank products and contributing to significant cross-functional projects.
• Building financial models, tools, and processes to enhance financial planning and analysis for Product and Business teams.
• Guiding teams in the development of business cases by analysing historical and current trends to forecast and budget for future opportunities.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders to align on financial strategies, expectations, and performance metrics.
• Collaborating across Finance to interpret the “story” behind the numbers and deliver actionable insights.

What you need to be successful:

Background: 

• University degree in Finance, Controlling, Audit, or a related field.
• Around 4 - 6 years of relevant experience, preferably in banking, fintech, or financial services consulting.

Skills: 

• Analytical and Technical Skills: Strong analytical abilities with a structured approach to problem-solving, combined with solid proficiency in financial modelling, planning, and analysis tools.
• Project Leadership: Proven track record in working on major projects and initiatives within an FBP function.
• Financial Knowledge: In-depth understanding of financial principles, performance metrics, and bank products, including a basic grasp of regulatory environments.
• Communication and Collaboration: Fluent in English with the ability to clearly convey complex financial data and insights to various stakeholders.
• Self-Starter: Highly motivated, with a deep interest in finance and a solid grasp of the technological foundations supporting financial systems.
