The Program Manager will be responsible for leading an exciting new opportunity to reinvent the way third-party Sellers sell on Amazon.
The Program Manager will work cross functionally across software development engineering, product management, and Operations teams, requiring a strong ability to communicate effectively with various business teams. This person must manage multiple projects at one time, drive complicated issues to closure, and innovate creative solutions that will positively impact both our Sellers and Associates. The right candidate loves solving complex problems and is passionate about coming up with solutions that our customers will love. Successful candidates will have a strong program management background, be detail oriented, have strong analytical skills, ability to deal with ambiguity and have excellent problem solving abilities.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead programs to improve processes, define the list of high priority improvements to reach business goals and build a roadmap to improve business efficiency;
- Monitor and execute projects on time and with high quality standards;
- Effectively communicate projects progress within the organization;
- Work with internal teams to drive system, tools and process improvements/ implementation that affect purchasing and operations workflow, with emphasis on automating tasks that are currently performed manually;
- Develop analysis of key business metrics, with emphasis on developing and executing recommendations for improvements;
- Lead projects from initial development to implementation that will streamline supply systems and processes and drive operational improvements.
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
