The Team:
The Ads Platform team builds the advertising systems and integrations that powers the delivery of ads using our world-class content delivery ecosystem. We deliver ads in a manner that’s thoughtful of our member’s viewing experience and drive great outcomes for advertisers. Our team is new and yet faced with the ambitions of building highly performant advertising systems and delivering high impact to our business by monetizing our incredible slate of content. As one of the newest entrants in the Connected TV advertising space that’s rapidly growing, we seek to build unique value propositions that help us differentiate from the competition and become a market leader in record time.
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to support our Ads Product team at Netflix. This role will be based out of our Los Gatos, CA office, but will consider LA-office based candidates. The core Advertising team is charged with building a new, best-in-class Ads organization to establish Netflix as the premiere platform for advertiser partners and drive advertising revenue. As part of our administrative support team for our Ads Product organization, you will enable our executive Advertising Product team to thrive.
A successful candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, quick-thinking, flexible, and able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities. They will need to place a strong emphasis on organization and unwavering attention to detail at all times, as well as an interest in and enjoyment of planning team activities and events. This is a demanding and fast-moving position that requires someone who can exercise good judgment and significant initiative.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintain complex calendars and scheduling requirements across multiple timezones for 3-4 Executives
Arrange domestic and international travel, including itineraries, accommodations, and logistics
Handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion
Manage expense reports and budget tracking
Assist with special projects and strategic initiatives as needed
Proactively assist with department support, including, but not limited to: owning preparation and distribution of meeting materials, facilitating successful delivery of agenda items and action items, and support with follow-up that ensures successful execution of project plans
Plan team and cross-functional offsites through coordination with hotels and vendors for lodging, catering, flights, A/V, and transport
Assist with onboarding new hire tasks for this team
Display professionalism in communication with internal and external partners
Ability to handle special projects and ad hoc requests as needed, e.g. assistance with preparing a presentation, org charts, spreadsheets, etc.
Anticipate and resolve scheduling conflicts effectively and proactively
Qualifications:
5+ years as an Executive/Administrative Assistant, with proven experience working with Engineering, Product & Data Science teams
Anticipate and resolve scheduling conflicts effectively and proactively.
Demonstrated experience proactively preparing and distributing meeting materials.
Event organization experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task
Proficiency in Google Workspace preferred: Gmail, GCalendar, Google Docs, Google Groups
Ability to be discrete and maintain confidential information
Understanding of how to prioritize and respond accordingly
Team player who operates in a fast-paced team-oriented setting
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $60,000- $240,000.
