As a vital member of Engineering team, you are responsible for helping to build and test new features and health studies. Your flexibility is essential to implementing creative solutions that connect our researchers to study participants. In addition to crafting efficient, testable, easy-to-maintain code, you embrace the importance of writing functional specifications and design documents. You will also: • manage time and expectations while balancing requirements for quality • love collaborating within the team and across groups • partner closely with other engineers and research leads to ensure well organized study operations • privacy and security are always top of mind for you, and you’re motivated by enabling more and better research that helps people live a better day This is a site based position.

Minimum Qualifications

  • • BS in Computer Science or equivalent
  • • 4+ years of proven experience with Swift
  • • Comfortable working in Objective-C
  • • Detailed understanding of software design fundamentals

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $214,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
