Description
Retail FP&A partners closely with the retail leadership team in the management of the Retail business. This role acts as a trusted leader who assists in a cross functional capacity to align financial and investment goals for Apple Retail worldwide. Additionally, the role serves a critical function connecting and communicating Apple Retail performance to the greater Apple finance organization. In addition, you will: Lead a team of analysts that manage end-to-end forecast and close processes for Apple Retail management financials, including consolidation of revenue and costs, in depth analytics on key performance indicators, and performance updates to key Apple Retail executives and the broader organization Lead and oversee Retail’s Annual Financial Planning process in support of Retail’s long term strategic priorities Partner with Retail Leadership on ad hoc projects to drive current / future business goals and trends Lead and oversee global corporate retail headcount and associated Opex Complete ad hoc financial analysis and miscellaneous projects in support of actuals and forecast processes and overall Apple Retail business initiatives Provide critical thought leadership in the development and maintenance of financial systems, reporting tools, and data governance Education

  • A hands-on financial leader with experience in a fast-paced, global and matrix environment, who will serve as a knowledgeable and trusted partner for Corporate FP&A
  • Strong leadership skills with the presence to effectively set and communicate vision and direction in an unstructured, evolving, ambiguous and geographically diverse environment
  • Big picture thinking with inherent curiosity to connect dots, understand all facets of Apple Retail, and drive decision making
  • Strong prioritization skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once and deliver results in a fast paced and quickly-changing environment
  • Proven ability to lead a team and develop talent
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate results
  • Proven experience developing and improving processes, with desire to inspire change
  • Ability to partner cross-functionally at all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in Excel and Keynote required, experience with data analytics/visualization software (e.g., Tableau) and enterprise software systems (e.g. Workday, Adaptive Insights, etc.) strongly preferred

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $178,900 and $269,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
