Engineering Manager - Frontend:

Key Responsibilities • Lead our frontend engineering team, including engineers and managers. • Create clear career paths for team members and help them grow with regular and deep mentoring. • Operating with scale and speed amidst flux—there is just a LOT happening. • Our world-class frontend engineers are just getting started—and as a manager, you guide the way. • Set up best practices for frontend development and champion their adoption, while at the same time architecting and designing technically robust, flexible, and scalable frontend solutions. • As a Engineering Manager, you manage your business goals, contribute to product strategy, and help develop your team • Work with designers, business analysts, and product managers to estimate and plan projects in an Agile environment. • Perform well in uncertainties and collaborate and work with unclear interfaces to other teams in our rapidly evolving organization. • Work closely with Product Management, Business Development, and Operations teams, enabling them by providing scalable and high-quality frontend technology solutions at a rapid pace.

Skills & Qualifications • Bachelor’s/Master's in Computer Science or relevant fields • 10+ years of relevant experience • Strong sense of ownership • Excellent JavaScript and ReactJS/Redux development skills • Experience in building and scaling frontend architectures • Strong knowledge in HTML, CSS, React Native, and JQuery • Strong problem-solving skills, technical troubleshooting, and diagnosing • Expected to be a role model for young engineers, with a strong sense of code quality, and enforce code quality within the team • Excellent understanding of performance optimization techniques for frontend applications • Experience working with Git and project management tools like JIRA • Knowledge of REST principles and HTTP • Experience in developing large-scale SaaS products/platforms • Demonstrated ability to deliver in a fast-paced start-up environment
