The App Explore’s team charter is to Facilitate continuous engagement and retention during our customers shopping and home project lifecycle by creating new value propositions for the Wayfair App Experience designed to serve the needs of early lifecycle and low-purchase intent users. The ideal candidate has experience in native app development (iOS or Android), and a proven track record of managing stakeholders and external partners. Experience or general interest in modern native application development techniques, Artificial Intelligence and GraphQL is a big plus! This person will leverage their breadth of knowledge in these areas to lead and grow a multi-disciplinary engineering team that delivers features for Wayfair shoppers to make their shopping experience frictionless and delightful.
As an engineering manager you will be a technical leader working hand in hand with your product counterpart in setting the direction for one of the most impactful development teams in the Wayfair app development organization. As we continue to grow, we have been tackling challenges of launching and supporting multiple apps, modularizing our code, and achieving feature parity across Android, iOS, web, and mobile web. We seek managers who are comfortable leading these efforts and building on the existing foundation of our award winning Wayfair app.
