About the team

The Enterprise Applications team at Rubrik enables business processes, employee experience, and technologies to scale our organization to $1B+. This team is responsible for all the enterprise applications used at Rubrik and the relevant business processes (Lead to Opportunity, Quote to Cash, Hire to Retire, Customer Support, Legal, & Facilities). The IT team caters to accelerated enhancement of business value and multiple day-to-day business processes through our varied SaaS applications like Salesforce.com, Oracle Netsuite, Workday, Coupa, Chromeriver, Snowflake, Etrade, Xactly, MuleSoft, etc.

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Salesforce Functional Service Cloud Consultant . This position involves a deep understanding of the Salesforce Service Cloud platform, along with the ability to effectively translate complex business requirements into functional and efficient Salesforce solutions.

What you'll Do

  • Act as a subject matter expert in Salesforce Service Cloud. Provide insights and advice on best practices, leveraging the platform's capabilities to enhance customer service and support processes.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their service and support requirements. Translate these needs into functional Salesforce solutions within the Service Cloud environment.
  • Configure and customize Service Cloud to align with business needs. Manage custom objects, fields, record types, page layouts, workflows, validation rules, and reports.
  • Develop and conduct training sessions for end-users of Service Cloud. Offer continuous support and guidance to ensure efficient and effective use of the platform.
  • Design solutions that utilize Service Cloud functionality to improve customer service operations and agent productivity. Ensure that solutions are scalable and sustainable.
  • Conduct thorough testing of Service Cloud configurations and customizations to ensure they meet business needs and are free from defects.
  • Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders. Ensure clear communication regarding global prioritization of requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Document all configurations, customizations, and processes. Stay updated on new Salesforce features and functionalities, and recommend improvements as appropriate.
  • Be upto date on the new tools/applications that are available on the Service Cloud and check on their feasibility w.r.t our current implementation

Experience you''ll need

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, including implementation configuration and customization.
  • In-depth understanding of customer service processes and CRM best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into practical Salesforce solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients.
  • Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant certification is highly desirable.
  • Tech Savvy and on the look out for new technologies that use Gen AI capabilities which in turn can help our customer support organization
