The Role

As the Strategic Pricing Director of Commercialization, you will assist in leading the ongoing development of commercial offerings (pricing strategy, price setting, packaging/bundling, etc.) and be responsible for the holistic view and execution of Commercialization. You will work closely with our product managers conducting research, devising innovative ideas, determining requirements, and working with the GTM teams to successfully launch new products and customer experiences.,

The Strategic Pricing Director of Commercialization will determine the pricing and packaging operational requirements and full delivery of its monetization. KPIs tied to usage and customer/sales experience will be used to measure and report on success. 

The Director of Strategic Pricing Commercialization’s role entails developing and implementing pricing strategies for new products or services during their launch phase, ensuring optimal market penetration and revenue generation by carefully considering competitor analysis, customer value proposition, and market dynamics while collaborating cross-functionally to execute pricing tactics and monitor post-launch performance.  This role will work closely with product managers, Order to Cash, and GTM teams for full operationalization and delivery of new and existing products.

What You’ll Do

  • Spearhead the development and execution of revenue-led commercialization strategy
  • Ensure E2E execution of all operational elements for all commercial offerings
  • Partner with sales enablement for GTM training at each launch
  • Cultivate a working relationship with the sales teams and leaders to gather feedback and provide guidance on commercial policy.
  • Act as change champion performing outreach deep in organization to drive adoption
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs (internal and external) to inform strategy.
  • Position BeyondTrust to capture market share and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Develop initiatives to showcase our offerings effectively and implement product-led growth models to boost revenue and improve customer retention.
  • Enable the commercialization of new products, offers, and business models in our platform ecosystem.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of pricing initiatives and provide training on commercial framework updates, pricing processes and tools when necessary
  • Develop strategies to monetize across various user segments.
  • Act as a player-coach, working closely with the Product Owner to drive the sales enablement GTM initiative.
  • Foster collaboration between sales, product, marketing, and customer success teams in the sales enablement.
  • Ensure alignment of commercialization strategies with the product development life cycle, inclusive of delivery plans and dependencies and marketing initiatives.
  • Utilize analytics to measure the effectiveness of sales enablement/commercialization strategies.
  • Implement KPIs to track the success of new product launches and commercialization models.
  • Create a shared understanding of strategy, progress, and results with stakeholders across BeyondTrust.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree (an advanced degree is preferred)
  • 7-10 years’ experience in product management \ strategic finance \ Strategic Pricing role.
  • Experience managing and delivering multiple projects to deadline and budget simultaneously
  • Data-driven mentality with a focus on analyzing and synthesizing financial, usage, and/or research data to understand market trends and product performance to create data-informed strategies. 
  • Experience working with Engineers & Product management to make product decisions on behalf of internal & external customers
  • Experience delivering highly complex software products from inception to launch
  • Deep understanding of Security / Identity management industry, customer experience, business modeling, GTM capabilities, commercialization, & platform delivery
  • Strong technical understanding, with the ability to establish credibility working with engineers and product managers.
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter
