About the team + role

The Growth team at Robinhood is responsible for growing Robinhood’s users, assets and revenue. We achieve this by building compelling product experiences & incentives aimed at getting more users to join Robinhood and grow their assets with us over time.

We're looking for a dedicated, ambitious Data Scientist to join our Growth Data Science team. In this role, helping the growth team identify high-impact opportunities, design & analyze experiments, and build models to target incentives at the right users to maximize ROI.

What you’ll do

• Develop, implement and deploy predictive models to solve complex business problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine data needs and deliver flawless insights.
• Conduct detailed data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Present clear and impactful findings to stakeholders, driving data-informed strategies across the organization.
• Mentor and guide junior data scientists and contribute to the team's professional growth.

What you bring

• Proven expertise in data science, with a strong background in statistical analysis and machine learning.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or other relevant languages.
• Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
• Ability to successfully implement projects and compete in a fast-paced environment.
• PhD or master’s degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, engineering or natural sciences and at least 2+ years of experience developing and deploying predictive models.
