About the team + role

The GSOC Lead is responsible for the continued growth, development, direct mentorship, and operational success of the Robinhood GSOC Team. This role will build, manage, and motivate teams in a dynamic, rapidly-evolving and cross-functional environment. This effort is centered around the use of people, process and technology to ensure life-safety, security and resiliency at corporate sites.

What you’ll do

  • Supervise and coordinate the development and maintenance of policies and procedures related to the GSOC and affected stakeholders
  • Provide strategic direction and hands-on guidance to team members
  • Drive Scenario Based Trainings (SBTs) and identify enhanced training methods for all GSOC Analysts
  • Align with the Physical Security Systems team to lead the implementation and execution of new technologies and business processes to improve efficiency across multiple teams
  • Initiate and maintain strategic planning to keep pace with growth of business teams, international expansion, new office locations, in-office and remote workforce, and changing customer and partner needs
  • Monitor and track goals, objectives, and key results for the GSOC program
  • Drive metrics and identify strengths and weaknesses within the GSOC, present clear solutions and well documented project plans to Physical Security Leadership.

What you bring

  • 8+ years of experience in corporate security programs, law enforcement/government agencies, or military
  • 4+ years of experience leading and managing all aspects of a Global Security Operations Centers or Command Center
  • Extensive experience using various Access Management Systems, video management systems, and incident management applications/software; Lenel, ExacqVision, or Genetec preferred
  • Exceptional project management skills, with strong attention to detail and a proven ability to take ownership of multiple projects
  • Strength in building relationships with key partners to ensure efficiency and understanding on cross-functional projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in gathering and analyzing data to identify useful metrics to drive operational changes
  • Experience with change management and conflict resolution
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with an ability to recognize opportunities and develop scalable ways of addressing them
  • Adept at managing incidents and escalation protocols; leading from the front to coordinate multi-faceted responses and situations
  • Experience using Slack, Google Suite, AlertMedia, Dataminr, and Ontic

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood’s equity plan. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
