Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
  • 2 years of experience developing or launching products or technologies within artificial intelligence (AI) or Machine Learning (ML).

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in software development or engineering.
  • Experience delivering complete machine learning solutions, identify key industry partners and third-party tools to deliver exceptional experience for customers running on Google Cloud.
  • Experience within Cloud Infrastructure, particularly with compute, networking and storage.
  • Experience with ML training and inferencing business.
  • Understanding of the cloud technology market, services, competitors, and in depth customer/user requirements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (writing PRDs and strategy docs, writing and delivering presentations to leadership).

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

We deliver exceptional accelerated compute infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) focusing on ML and AI workloads. This team focuses on delivering the industry's best GPU-based solutions for these workloads. Our team works cross-functionally to build, launch and land new infrastructure offerings on Google Compute Engine (GCE). We partner with services like Cloud AI Platform (CAIP) and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) to ensure the infrastructure is exposed at all layers of the stack. We partner with internal product areas, leveraging Alphabet's strengths to differentiate. We manage the profit and loss, working with Partnership, Marketing, UX, and Sales teams to drive growth and business operations to manage costs.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Work with partner teams (e.g., Engineers, Program Managers, UX) during product design and development to implement the requirements to turn Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) into Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for one or more teams.
  • Define product roadmaps by operationalizing strategy.
  • Help drive significant business growth for GCP.
  • Understand the customer journey and their workflows for our AI/ML workloads. Understand their pain points and how AI/ML infra can address their constraints, know how to shape our product roadmap by building new offerings to best drive growth to GCP.
  • Understand the technical challenges and dependencies, working with executives across Google to ensure effective product launches and deliver a good product experience.
