Brand Marketing Manager
Requirements: This is a hybrid position requiring three days in-office per week in New York City.
Convene is seeking a Brand Marketing Manager to join its global Marketing Team. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and executing integrated brand marketing initiatives for a global lifestyle company and/or a portfolio of brands. The Brand Marketing Manager will report directly to the Senior Director of Brand & Communications.
What You’ll Do:
The Brand Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting global marketing efforts for our portfolio of brands including strategy development, execution, and collaboration with Regional Marketing Managers on local adaptation. The focus of this role will be building brand awareness for the Convene portfolio of brands, which includes etc.venues, and its full suite of products - Events, Meetings, and WorkPlace.
This position will sit on the Brand & Communications Team and work closely with the Performance Marketing Team to support Demand Generation and Regional Marketing efforts, serving as the key liaison to ensure cohesion and consistency across global and local marketing messaging and tactics.
Overview:
- Ownership of the annual marketing calendar, accounting for all global campaigns, industry events, and brand activations, as well as supporting regional adaptations
- Develop and execute global brand marketing and awareness campaigns for a portfolio of brands, inclusive of campaign standards, taglines, and visual guidance, as well as deployment methods such as email marketing, print and digital ad buys, events and activations, barters/partnerships, and more
- Develop and execute industry use-case campaigns for all products across the portfolio of brands
- Identify print advertising and/or sponsored content opportunities in national media outlets and/or relevant trade publications
- Champion and enforce brand messaging and standard across all internal departments to ensure consistency and cohesion for all brands across the portfolio
- Partner with Product and Commercial teams on go-to-market strategies for new initiatives (e.g. Refer-a-Friend Program)
- Manage global tradeshow calendar and coordinate on-site booth activations. Serve as a representative of the company at select client-facing events
- Serve as production coordinator for brand and property video shoots
- Lead association and industry organization partnerships (i.e. national chapters of MPI, ILEA, et. al.)
- Manage global email marketing and newsletter calendar
- Manage Client Advisory Board in partnership with Product team
- Partner with Sales Enablement to identify buyer personas, industry trends, and other variances to better inform Commercial strategy
- Manage and maintain brand website and universally-used aspects of the commercial technology stack
- Assist with the development of an evolving brand strategy for a portfolio company
- Monitor campaign performance metrics and report out on key findings while iterating on tactics
- Assist Regional Marketing team with the coordination and planning of marketing events, as needed
What We Look For:
- Extensive brand marketing experience required, with a bias towards ROI and performance marketing preferred
- Experience working with a global lifestyle brand or brand portfolio high preferred
- Proven track record of driving brand awareness and executing savvy and successful global marketing campaigns
- Leadership qualities with the ability to create alignment across multiple internal stakeholders
- Critical thinker who is business-minded yet creative, organized, and highly motivated
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent grammar and attention to detail
- A keen eye for visually compelling creative and collateral
- Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills. Must have the ability to balance multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
- Self-motivated approach with the ability to take initiative while also being a team player
- Ability to maintain top-quality work in a high-volume environment
- Experience in meeting/event, hospitality, or commercial real estate industry a plus
- Proficiency in WordPress, Hubspot, Salesforce, and/or Google Analytics a plus
- Must be able to provide work samples including writing examples or a campaign portfolio upon request

Base Salary:
Salary Min: $100,000 Salary Max: $110,000
This role is also eligible for Convene's annual incentive performance bonus plan.
