The Role

As part of our growing Executive Talent team, you’ll play a critical role in the identification and engagement of top-tier leadership talent for Block. This is a unique opportunity to apply your expertise in sourcing, market intelligence, and research to deliver talent insights that help shape hiring decisions across all functions. You’ll help build talent pipelines for critical senior roles while delivering an outstanding candidate experience.

You Will

  • Create research-driven strategies to identify, engage, and maintain relationships with high-potential executive candidates
  • Collaborate with executive recruiters and leadership to understand role requirements and craft tailored sourcing plans for each search
  • Be the first point of contact for executive candidates, conducting initial assessment interviews and ensuring a smooth and positive experience from start to finish
  • Track the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and candidate pipelines, collecting and analyzing both qualitative and quantitative data to report important metrics, provide applicable insights, and suggest continuous improvements
  • Stay ahead of industry trends by maintaining an understanding of evolving market conditions, talent environments, and executive hiring best practices
  • Commit to inclusive hiring practices that foster a diverse leadership team and a culture of different perspectives

You Have

  • 3+ years of experience sourcing or recruiting senior-level executive talent (VP+), either in-house or at a retained search firm
  • Expertise in quickly understanding new markets, industries, and leadership roles
  • A data-driven approach, with experience analyzing sourcing metrics and optimizing pipelines
  • Integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive candidate information

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
