About the Role

At FareHarbor, we are on a mission to make it easier to book experiences online. We do this by building and servicing a best-in-class reservation management system for 20,000+ tour, activity, and attraction operators around the world. Our clients are the fun things we all love to do — zoos, walking tours, boat rentals, zip lines, scuba diving and more!

You will be part of the global Business Intelligence team, the analytical engine of FareHarbor, interacting with many teams and completing data-driven projects. This role reports into the Manager of Business Analytics. You will work alongside our Senior analysts as a critical thought partner for commercial leaders in Sales, Onboarding, and Account management. As a Business Analyst, you will focus on creating reporting, data insights to drive sales and accelerate client revenue growth. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is intellectually curious, entrepreneurial, while also structured.  

What you’ll do here:

  • Reporting and Visualization: Design and maintain intuitive and insightful dashboards to help commercial organization (300+ FTEs in NORAM, EMEA, APAC) understand and improve performance. 
  • Data partnership: Own data delivery autonomously (full cycle, from ETL to reporting) to support data-driven decisions within sales and account management teams: maintain data accuracy and spot improvement opportunities for key reports, metrics, and workflows. 
  • Analysis and Insights: Run data analyses adopting existing internal and external suitable methodologies to improve sales productivity, client channel mix strategy, client retention, and client value.  
  • Own the end-to-end analytics solution design and delivery with minimal supervision, from gathering requirements and defining problems to setting success metrics and planning data-driven strategies. 
  • Self-service analytics: Support self-service analytics initiatives by working closely with the BI team to optimize data access and streamline workflows.   
  • Data Governance and Quality: Maintain and implement automated quality monitoring processes to support data governance and ensure data accuracy, consistency and integrity across reporting

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, preferably in SaaS.  
  • Master’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Solid knowledge of BI reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI, etc.)
  • Proficient in SQL, familiarity with ETL through DBT or Python is a plus. 
  • Understanding of data management processes, including data pipelines and workflows.
  • Proactive and collaborative, with a bias for action and a focus on delivering business results.
  • Skilled in data visualization and dashboard creation, as well as in storytelling with data.
  • Effectively communicates and conveys complex analysis results in a clear manner
  • Experience in sales/marketing operations or distribution partnership analytics is a plus.
  • Legally authorized to work in the European Union

This will be a hybrid role with in-office expectations.
