Business Analyst - Junior Manager

Paytm is India’s leading digital payments and financial services company, which is focused on driving consumers and merchants to its platform by offering them a variety of payment use cases. Paytm provides consumers with services like utility payments and money transfers, while empowering them to pay via Paytm Payment Instruments (PPI) like Paytm Wallet, Paytm UPI, Paytm Payments Bank Netbanking, Paytm FASTag and Paytm Postpaid - Buy Now, Pay Later. To merchants, Paytm offers acquiring devices like Soundbox, EDC, QR and Payment Gateway where payment aggregation is done through PPI and also other banks’ financial instruments. To further enhance merchants’ business, Paytm offers merchants commerce services through advertising and Paytm Mini app store. Operating on this platform leverage, the company then offers credit services such as merchant loans, personal loans and BNPL, sourced by its financial partners.

1. Using automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources

2. Removing corrupted data and fixing coding errors and related problems

3. Developing and maintaining databases, data systems – reorganizing data in a readable format

4. Preparing reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data

5. Preparing final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to take important decisions based on various facts and trends

6. Supporting the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements.

7. Setup robust automated dashboards to drive performance management

8.Derive business insights from data with a focus on driving business level metrics

 

 

·       Problem solving - Assess what data is required to prove hypotheses and derive actionable insights

·       Analytical skills - Top notch excel skills are necessary

·       Strong communication and project management skills

·       Hands on with SQL, Excel and comfortable handling extensive scale data.

·       Ability to interact and convince business stakeholders.

·       Experience working with web analytics platforms is an added advantage.

·       Proficiency in Advance SQL , MS Excel.
