ABOUT THE TEAM

Tide is seeking an exceptional Senior User Interface Designer to join our team Experience Foundations. Experience Foundations, focused on evolving our global platform's end-to-end user experiences to drive greater member value and a clear differentiated experience. As a senior designer within the team, you get to work with the team building a world class connected experience across Tide, deeply solving the most important problems for micro, small & medium enterprises. We want someone who is excited to join a rapidly growing scale up, reimaging user experiences and leading the future of our business and finance platform. 

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Develop high-quality visual assets such as illustrations, animations, and graphics to enhance the user interface.
  • Create visually stunning and cohesive design systems, including style guides, typography, iconography, and color palettes
  • Ensure all digital assets are aligned with the brand's identity, tone, and style.
  • Design user interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring they are intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing.
  • Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and final design assets to communicate design ideas effectively.
  • Optimize UI designs for responsiveness and usability across various screen sizes and devices.

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a bright, talented User Interface Designer who is passionate about brilliant customer experiences, and knows how to make them happen. The impact and scope of this role are huge, and you’ll be a key contributor to our continued success as we shape the future of our financial platform for Small & Medium-sized Enterprises.

Technical Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in visual design, UI design, or a related field, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in designing digital products.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and/or other industry-standard software.
  • Strong understanding of HTML/CSS and front-end frameworks (a plus).
  • Experience with motion design and prototyping tools (e.g., After Effects, Principle) is preferred.

Core Competencies:

  • Exceptional visual design skills with a keen eye for detail, composition, and aesthetics.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and an analytical mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and decisions to stakeholders.

Soft Skills:

  • Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor and guide team members.
  • A proactive, self-motivated attitude with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
